The pitching camp is organized for the pitching of the innovation and for the resulting discussion. Pitching, that is, giving an elevator speech, helps the customer learn about the most relevant points of the innovation to a short speech. When creating a pitch, the innovation or idea gets condensed and structured so that it can be easily explained in a short sales speech. Pitching clarifies and focuses on relevant things around the innovation or the idea. Another benefit of Pitching Camp is the giving and receiving of feedback. The discussion resulting from the pitch can be fruitful, and the basis for further development.
The Pitching Camp is basically a one afternoon workshop, that includes a pre-assignment. During the workshop, pitching is practiced during two rounds and the output is a five-minute elevator speech. An additional task is carried out after the workshop. Through the Pitching Camp you also have the opportunity to participate in Haaga-Helia’s semi-annual official pitching events (in autumn in cooperation with Elisa and in cooperation with the OP Bank Group in the spring).
